لِينَا: قَرَّرْتُ تَرْكَ وَظِيفَتِي الْإِدَارِيَّةِ نِهَايَةَ الشَّهْرِ الْقَادِمِ لِأَعْمَلَ فِي تَحْرِيرِ النُّصُوصِ بِصُورَةٍ مُسْتَقِلَّةٍ. فَكَّرْتُ فِي ذَلِكَ طَوِيلًا.
رَنَا: أَعْرِفُ أَنَّ الْوَظِيفَةَ تُرْهِقُكِ، وَأُؤَيِّدُ رَغْبَتَكِ فِي التَّغْيِيرِ. لَكِنَّ التَّوْقِيتَ يُقْلِقُنِي، فَلَدَيْكِ مَشْرُوعٌ مَدْفُوعٌ وَاحِدٌ فَقَطْ.
لِينَا: عِنْدَمَا تُرَكِّزِينَ عَلَى الْمَخَاطِرِ، أَشْعُرُ كَأَنَّكِ تَشُكِّينَ فِي قُدْرَتِي، لَا فِي تَوْقِيتِ الْخُطْوَةِ وَحْدَهُ.
رَنَا: أَفْهَمُ لِمَاذَا وَصَلَكِ هَذَا الْمَعْنَى. أَثِقُ بِمَهَارَتِكِ، لَكِنْ لَا أَعْرِفُ مَدَى اسْتِمْرَارِ الطَّلَبِ عَلَى خَدَمَاتِكِ.
لِينَا: لَمْ أَبْدَأْ أَمْسِ؛ أُحَرِّرُ نُصُوصًا مَسَاءً مُنْذُ سَنَتَيْنِ، وَجَمَعْتُ نَمَاذِجَ لِأَعْمَالِي. لَيْسَ الْقَرَارُ رَدَّ فِعْلٍ عَلَى يَوْمٍ صَعْبٍ.
رَنَا: هَذِهِ مَعْلُومَةٌ لَمْ أُقَدِّرْ أَهَمِّيَّتَهَا. هَلْ يُنَاسِبُكِ أَنْ أَطْرَحَ سُؤَالًا عَمَلِيًّا وَاحِدًا، أَمْ تُفَضِّلِينَ أَنْ أَسْتَمِعَ الْآنَ؟
لِينَا: تَفَضَّلِي. أُرِيدُ سَمَاعَ مَلْحُوظَةٍ مُحَدَّدَةٍ، لَا إِعَادَةَ مُنَاقَشَةِ قُدْرَتِي كُلَّمَا تَحَدَّثْنَا عَنِ الْخُطَّةِ.
رَنَا: سَيَنْتَهِي الْمَشْرُوعُ بَعْدَ شَهْرٍ، وَلَمْ تُؤَكَّدْ مَشَارِيعُ أُخْرَى. كَيْفَ سَتَتَصَرَّفِينَ إِنْ تَأَخَّرَ الْعَمَلُ التَّالِي؟
لِينَا: وَفَّرْتُ مَبْلَغًا أُقَدِّرُ أَنَّهُ يُغَطِّي نَفَقَاتِي لِسِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ، وَسَأُرَاجِعُ النَّفَقَاتِ وَطَلَبَاتِ الْعَمَلِ كُلَّ شَهْرٍ.
رَنَا: هَذَا يُوَضِّحُ خُطَّتَكِ، مَعَ أَنَّ التَّقْدِيرَ قَدْ يَتَغَيَّرُ. مَا زِلْتُ أُفَضِّلُ التَّأْجِيلَ، لَكِنَّ رَأْيِي لَيْسَ تَنَبُّؤًا بِالْفَشَلِ.
لِينَا: وَلَا أَطْلُبُ مِنْكِ ضَمَانَ النَّجَاحِ. يُسَاعِدُنِي أَنْ تَقْرَئِي مِلَفَّ أَعْمَالِي وَتُخْبِرِينِي بِمَا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَى تَوْضِيحٍ.
رَنَا: أَسْتَطِيعُ قِرَاءَتَهُ يَوْمَ الْأَحَدِ. هَلْ تُرِيدِينَ مُلَاحَظَاتٍ عَلَى اللُّغَةِ، أَمْ عَلَى طَرِيقَةِ عَرْضِ النَّمَاذِجِ؟
لِينَا: عَلَى الْجَانِبَيْنِ، وَخَاصَّةً الْمُقَدِّمَةَ. أُرْسِلُهُ لِأَعْرِفَ هَلْ يَفْهَمُ الْقَارِئُ الْخِدْمَةَ الَّتِي أُقَدِّمُهَا بِوُضُوحٍ.
رَنَا: أَعْرِفُ كَاتِبَةً تَبْحَثُ عَنْ مُحَرِّرَةٍ. يُمْكِنُنِي تَعْرِيفُكِ بِهَا، لَكِنَّنِي لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ ضَمَانَ تَعَاوُنِكُمَا.
لِينَا: أُقَدِّرُ ذَلِكَ. اِنْتَظِرِي حَتَّى أُرْسِلَ النُّسْخَةَ الَّتِي أُوَافِقُ عَلَى مُشَارَكَتِهَا، وَاذْكُرِي خِبْرَتِي كَمَا هِيَ.
رَنَا: بِالتَّأْكِيدِ، سَأَنْتَظِرُ مُوَافَقَتَكِ، وَلَنْ أُبَالِغَ فِي وَصْفِ خِبْرَتِكِ. التَّعْرِيفُ بِكِ فُرْصَةٌ لِلتَّوَاصُلِ فَقَطْ.
لِينَا: وَإِذَا تَغَيَّرَتِ الْمَعْطَيَاتُ أُعِيدُ النَّظَرَ فِي الْمَوْعِدِ. لَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ يَمْنَعَنِي الدِّفَاعُ عَنْ قَرَارِي مِنْ تَعْدِيلِهِ.
رَنَا: هَذَا لَا يُقَلِّلُ مِنْ جِدِّيَّتِكِ. وَسَأُحَاوِلُ أَنْ أُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَ إِبْدَاءِ تَحَفُّظٍ وَمُحَاوَلَةِ اتِّخَاذِ الْقَرَارِ عَنْكِ.
لِينَا: أَرْغَبُ فِي إِطْلَاعِكِ عَلَى مَا يَحْدُثُ، دُونَ أَنْ تَتَحَوَّلَ كُلُّ مُحَادَثَةٍ بَيْنَنَا إِلَى تَقْيِيمٍ لِلْخُطَّةِ.
رَنَا: مُتَّفِقَتَانِ. سَأَسْأَلُكِ قَبْلَ إِعْطَاءِ نَصِيحَةٍ، وَيُمْكِنُكِ أَنْ تَقُولِي إِنَّكِ تُرِيدِينَ مُشَارَكَةَ خَبَرٍ فَقَطْ.
لِينَا: إِذَنْ، أُرْسِلُ الْمِلَفَّ السَّبْتَ لِتَقْرَئِيهِ الْأَحَدَ، وَأُبْقِي مُرَاجَعَةَ خُطَّتِي مَسْؤُولِيَّتِي. هَذَا دَعْمٌ يُفِيدُنِي فِعْلًا.
رَنَا: يَسُرُّنِي ذَلِكَ. قَدْ نَخْتَلِفُ فِي التَّوْقِيتِ، لَكِنَّ اخْتِلَافَنَا لَا يَمْنَعُنِي مِنْ مُسَانَدَتِكِ بِصِدْقٍ.

Rana: That clarifies your plan, although estimates can change. I still favour postponement, but am not predicting failure.
Lina: I am not asking for guaranteed success. Reading my portfolio and identifying what needs clarification would help.
