نَبِيلٌ: رَانِيَةُ، أَكْتَشِفُ الْآنَ أَنَّنِي أَرْسَلْتُ لِلْفَرِيقِ نُسْخَةً قَدِيمَةً مِنْ مِلَفِّ الطَّلَبَاتِ هَذَا الصَّبَاحَ.
رَانِيَةُ: شُكْرًا لِإِخْبَارِي مُبَاشَرَةً. مَا الْفَرْقُ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ النُّسْخَةِ الصَّحِيحَةِ؟ نَحْتَاجُ إِلَى مَعْرِفَةِ أَثَرِ الْخَطَأِ.
نَبِيلٌ: النُّسْخَةُ الْقَدِيمَةُ لَا تَتَضَمَّنُ طَلَبَاتِ أَمْسِ، لِذَلِكَ يَظْهَرُ الْمَجْمُوعُ أَقَلَّ مِنَ الْعَدَدِ الصَّحِيحِ.
رَانِيَةُ: هَلْ تَغَيَّرَتِ الْأَسْعَارُ أَيْضًا، أَوْ يَقْتَصِرُ الْخَطَأُ عَلَى عَدَدِ الطَّلَبَاتِ الْمَوْجُودَةِ فِي الْمِلَفِّ؟
نَبِيلٌ: الْأَسْعَارُ صَحِيحَةٌ، لَكِنَّ عَشَرَةَ طَلَبَاتٍ غَيْرُ مُدْرَجَةٍ. لَمْ أَفْحَصْ تَارِيخَ الْمِلَفِّ قَبْلَ إِرْسَالِهِ.
رَانِيَةُ: هَلْ أَرْسَلْتَهُ إِلَى أَحَدٍ خَارِجَ الْفَرِيقِ؟ وَهَلْ اسْتَخْدَمَ أَيُّ زَمِيلٍ الْأَرْقَامَ فِي تَقْرِيرٍ آخَرَ؟
نَبِيلٌ: أَرْسَلْتُهُ لِلْفَرِيقِ فَقَطْ. لَا أَعْرِفُ بَعْدُ إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ قَدِ اسْتَخْدَمَهُ، وَسَأَسْأَلُهُمْ الْآنَ.
رَانِيَةُ: جَيِّدٌ. أَخْبِرْهُمْ بِوُجُودِ خَطَأٍ، وَاطْلُبْ مِنْهُمُ انْتِظَارَ النُّسْخَةِ الْمُصَحَّحَةِ قَبْلَ اسْتِخْدَامِ أَرْقَامِ الْمِلَفِّ.
نَبِيلٌ: أَنَا أَتَحَمَّلُ الْمَسْؤُولِيَّةَ. سَأُرَاجِعُ النُّسْخَةَ الْجَدِيدَةَ مَعَ سِجِلِّ الطَّلَبَاتِ، ثُمَّ أُرْسِلُهَا مَعَ تَوْضِيحٍ لِلتَّصْحِيحِ.
رَانِيَةُ: مَتَى يُمْكِنُكَ إِنْهَاءُ الْمُرَاجَعَةِ؟ نُرِيدُ الْأَرْقَامَ الصَّحِيحَةَ قَبْلَ إِعْدَادِ مَوَادِّ اجْتِمَاعِ الْغَدِ الْيَوْمَ.
نَبِيلٌ: أَحْتَاجُ إِلَى نِصْفِ سَاعَةٍ، وَأَسْتَطِيعُ إِرْسَالَ الْمِلَفِّ الْمُرَاجَعِ قَبْلَ ظُهْرِ الْيَوْمِ بِوَقْتٍ كَافٍ.
رَانِيَةُ: حَسَنًا، أَرْسِلْهُ إِلَيَّ أَوَّلًا لِأُرَاجِعَ الْمَجْمُوعَ مَعَكَ، ثُمَّ أَرْسِلْهُ إِلَى الْمُسْتَلِمِينَ الْأَصْلِيِّينَ جَمِيعًا.
نَبِيلٌ: سَأُضِيفُ تَارِيخَ الْيَوْمِ وَكَلِمَةَ «مُصَحَّحٌ» إِلَى اسْمِ الْمِلَفِّ، حَتَّى يَسْهُلَ تَمْيِيزُهُ مِنَ النُّسْخَةِ السَّابِقَةِ.
رَانِيَةُ: وَاذْكُرْ فِي الرِّسَالَةِ أَنَّ الْمِلَفَّ الْجَدِيدَ يَحُلُّ مَحَلَّ السَّابِقِ، مَعَ بَيَانِ سَبَبِ اخْتِلَافِ الْمَجْمُوعِ.
نَبِيلٌ: إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدٌ قَدْ نَقَلَ الْأَرْقَامَ الْقَدِيمَةَ إِلَى تَقْرِيرِهِ، فَسَأُسَاعِدُهُ فِي تَحْدِيثِهَا وَالتَّأَكُّدِ مِنْهَا.
رَانِيَةُ: هَذَا مُنَاسِبٌ. لَا تَفْتَرِضْ أَنَّ إِرْسَالَ الْمِلَفِّ وَحْدَهُ يَكْفِي؛ تَأَكَّدْ مِنْ وُصُولِ التَّوْضِيحِ أَيْضًا.
نَبِيلٌ: سَأَطْلُبُ تَأْكِيدَ اسْتِلَامِ النُّسْخَةِ الْمُصَحَّحَةِ، وَسَأُبَلِّغُكِ إِذَا وَجَدْتُ تَقْرِيرًا آخَرَ يَحْتَاجُ إِلَى تَعْدِيلٍ.
رَانِيَةُ: وَكَيْفَ سَتَمْنَعُ تَكْرَارَ هَذَا الْخَلْطِ؟ تَشَابُهُ أَسْمَاءِ النُّسَخِ قَدْ يُسَبِّبُ الْمُشْكِلَةَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى.
نَبِيلٌ: سَأَحْفَظُ النُّسَخَ الْقَدِيمَةَ فِي مُجَلَّدٍ مُنْفَصِلٍ، وَأَفْتَحُ الْمُرْفَقَ لِمُرَاجَعَةِ تَارِيخِهِ قَبْلَ كُلِّ إِرْسَالٍ.
رَانِيَةُ: جَيِّدٌ، اِبْدَأْ بِإِبْلَاغِ الْفَرِيقِ الْآنَ، ثُمَّ نُرَاجِعُ الْمِلَفَّ مَعًا وَنُتَابِعُ التَّصْحِيحَ حَتَّى يَكْتَمِلَ.

Nabil: Rania, I have just realized that I sent the team an old version of the orders file this morning.

Nabil: The old version does not include yesterday’s orders, so the total appears lower than the correct number.
Rania: Have the prices changed too, or is the error limited to the number of orders in the file?
Nabil: The prices are correct, but ten orders are missing. I did not check the file date before sending it.
Rania: Did you send it to anyone outside the team? And has any colleague used the figures in another report?
Nabil: I sent it only to the team. I do not yet know whether anyone has used it, and I will ask them now.
Rania: Good. Tell them there is an error, and ask them to wait for the corrected version before using the file’s figures.
Nabil: I take responsibility. I will check the new version against the orders register, then send it with an explanation of the correction.
Rania: When can you finish checking? We need the correct figures before preparing the materials for tomorrow’s meeting today.
Nabil: I need half an hour and can send the checked file well before noon today.
Rania: All right. Send it to me first so I can check the total with you, then send it to all the original recipients.
Nabil: I will add today’s date and the word “corrected” to the filename so it is easy to distinguish from the previous version.
Rania: State in the message that the new file replaces the previous one, and explain why the total differs.
