سَامِي: أَحْتَاجُ إِلَى دَوْرَةٍ تُسَاعِدُنِي فِي عَمَلِي الْجَدِيدِ، وَأُقَارِنُ بَيْنَ دَوْرَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ التَّسْجِيلِ.
سَمِيرٌ: مَا الْمَهَارَةُ الَّتِي تَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهَا الْآنَ؟ مَعْرِفَةُ الْمُهِمَّةِ سَتُسَاعِدُكَ عَلَى اخْتِيَارِ الدَّوْرَةِ الْمُنَاسِبَةِ.
سَامِي: أُعِدُّ تَقْرِيرًا شَهْرِيًّا عَنِ الطَّلَبَاتِ، لَكِنَّ تَرْتِيبَ الْأَرْقَامِ وَمُقَارَنَتَهَا يَسْتَغْرِقَانِ مِنِّي وَقْتًا طَوِيلًا.
سَمِيرٌ: حَضَرْتُ دَوْرَةَ الْجَدَاوِلِ الْإِلِكْتُرُونِيَّةِ الْعَامَ الْمَاضِيَ. تَعَلَّمْنَا تَرْتِيبَ الْبَيَانَاتِ وَإِنْشَاءَ رُسُومٍ بَيَانِيَّةٍ بَسِيطَةٍ.
سَامِي: هَذِهِ إِحْدَى الدَّوْرَتَيْنِ، وَالثَّانِيَةُ عَنْ تَقْدِيمِ الْعُرُوضِ. سَأَحْتَاجُ إِلَى شَرْحِ التَّقَارِيرِ لِلْفَرِيقِ أَيْضًا.
سَمِيرٌ: الدَّوْرَتَانِ مُفِيدَتَانِ، لَكِنَّ إِعْدَادَ الْأَرْقَامِ يَسْبِقُ عَرْضَهَا. مَا الْمَوَاعِيدُ الْمُعْلَنَةُ لِكُلِّ دَوْرَةٍ هَذِهِ الْمَرَّةَ؟
سَامِي: دَوْرَةُ الْجَدَاوِلِ مَسَاءَ الثُّلَاثَاءِ لِمُدَّةِ سِتَّةِ أَسَابِيعَ، وَدَوْرَةُ الْعُرُوضِ تَسْتَغْرِقُ يَوْمَيِ السَّبْتِ الْقَادِمَيْنِ.
سَمِيرٌ: الْأُولَى أَطْوَلُ مِنَ الثَّانِيَةِ، لَكِنَّ الْفَاصِلَ بَيْنَ اللِّقَاءَاتِ أَتَاحَ لِي تَجْرِبَةَ الْمَهَارَاتِ فِي الْعَمَلِ.
سَامِي: هَلْ كَانَ التَّدْرِيبُ عَمَلِيًّا؟ لَا أُرِيدُ مُشَاهَدَةَ الشَّرْحِ فَقَطْ دُونَ فُرْصَةٍ لِلتَّطْبِيقِ بِنَفْسِي.
سَمِيرٌ: نَعَمْ، كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ عَلَى مِلَفَّاتٍ تَدْرِيبِيَّةٍ، وَيُرَاجِعُ الْمُدَرِّبُ نَتَائِجَنَا. لَكِنْ تَحَقَّقْ مِنَ الْخُطَّةِ الْحَالِيَّةِ.
سَامِي: تَذْكُرُ الْخُطَّةُ تَمَارِينَ أُسْبُوعِيَّةً وَمَشْرُوعًا قَصِيرًا. هَلْ احْتَجْتَ إِلَى خِبْرَةٍ مُتَقَدِّمَةٍ قَبْلَ الْبَدْءِ؟
سَمِيرٌ: لَا، كَانَتْ مَعْرِفَةُ إِدْخَالِ الْبَيَانَاتِ كَافِيَةً فِي دَوْرَتِي. اِسْأَلِ الْمَرْكَزَ عَنِ الْمُتَطَلَّبَاتِ لِلتَّأَكُّدِ.
سَامِي: الْمَهَارَاتُ الْأَسَاسِيَّةُ لَدَيَّ، لَكِنَّ الْأُولَى أَغْلَى مِنَ الثَّانِيَةِ: ثَلَاثُمِائَةِ رِيَالٍ بَدَلًا مِنْ مِائَةٍ وَثَمَانِينَ.
سَمِيرٌ: هَلْ تَسْمَحُ مِيزَانِيَّتُكَ بِهَا؟ قَارِنِ التَّكْلِفَةَ بِمَا سَتَسْتَخْدِمُهُ، وَلَا تَخْتَرِ الْأَرْخَصَ لِلسِّعْرِ وَحْدَهُ.
سَامِي: أَسْتَطِيعُ دَفْعَ ثَلَاثِمِائَةِ رِيَالٍ، لَكِنْ لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ حُضُورَ الدَّوْرَتَيْنِ هَذَا الشَّهْرَ بِسَبَبِ الْوَقْتِ.
سَمِيرٌ: إِذَنْ، اِخْتَرْ مَا يَخْدِمُ تَقْرِيرَكَ الْحَالِيَّ، وَفَكِّرْ فِي دَوْرَةِ الْعُرُوضِ عِنْدَمَا يَكُونُ لَدَيْكَ وَقْتٌ.
سَامِي: سَأَخْتَارُ دَوْرَةَ الْجَدَاوِلِ، لِأَنَّنِي أَحْتَاجُ إِلَى تَحْسِينِ إِعْدَادِ الْبَيَانَاتِ أَوَّلًا. وَمَسَاءُ الثُّلَاثَاءِ يُنَاسِبُنِي.
سَمِيرٌ: قَبْلَ التَّسْجِيلِ، تَأَكَّدْ أَيْضًا مِنَ الْبَرْنَامَجِ الْمُسْتَخْدَمِ، فَقَدْ يَخْتَلِفُ عَنِ الْبَرْنَامَجِ الْمَوْجُودِ فِي مَكْتَبِنَا.
سَامِي: سَأَتَّصِلُ بِالْمَرْكَزِ لِأَسْأَلَ عَنِ الْمُتَطَلَّبَاتِ وَالْبَرْنَامَجِ، ثُمَّ أُقَرِّرُ إِنْ كَانَتِ الدَّوْرَةُ تُنَاسِبُ مُسْتَوَايَ.

Sami: I need a course to help with my new work, and I am comparing two before registering.

Samir: I attended the spreadsheet course last year. We learned to organize data and create simple charts.
Sami: That is one of the two courses; the other covers giving presentations. I will also need to explain the reports to the team.
Samir: Both courses are useful, but preparing the figures comes before presenting them. What are the advertised schedules this time?
Sami: The spreadsheet course runs on Tuesday evenings for six weeks, and the presentation course takes the next two Saturdays.
Samir: The first is longer than the second, but the gap between sessions allowed me to try the skills at work.
Sami: Was the training practical? I do not want only to watch explanations without a chance to practise myself.
Samir: Yes. We worked on practice files, and the trainer reviewed our results. But check the current course plan.
Sami: The plan lists weekly exercises and a short project. Did you need advanced experience before starting?
Samir: No. Knowing how to enter data was enough for my course. Ask the centre about the requirements to make sure.
Sami: I have the basic skills, but the first costs more than the second: three hundred riyals instead of one hundred and eighty.
Samir: Does your budget allow for it? Compare the cost with what you will use, and do not choose the cheapest solely for its price.
Sami: I can pay three hundred riyals, but I cannot attend both courses this month because of time constraints.
Samir: Then choose what supports your current report, and consider the presentation course when you have time.
Sami: I will choose the spreadsheet course because I need to improve data preparation first. Tuesday evenings suit me.
Samir: Before registering, also check which program they use, as it may differ from the one in our office.
