Nabil: Hello. I think I left my bag in one of your taxis yesterday, and I would like your help finding it.
Samar: We will try. Where did you get into the taxi, and where did you go? Do you remember the time of the journey?
Nabil: I travelled from in front of the exhibition centre to my hotel. As far as I remember, it was around half past five.
Samar: Do you have a receipt? It may help us identify the time and vehicle number more accurately.
Nabil: Yes, I have just found it. The written time is twenty past five, and the vehicle number is seventeen.
Samar: Thank you for clarifying. We will use the receipt time, then. I have found a journey from the centre to the hotel in our records.
Nabil: That is good. I was sitting in the back and put the bag on the seat beside me before getting out.
Samar: Please describe the bag to me. What colour is it, and does it have any feature that distinguishes it from others?
Nabil: It is a grey backpack with a red zip. In its front pocket there is a blue notebook and a white pen.
Samar: Those details are useful for identifying the bag. Please wait a little while I contact the driver.
Nabil: Certainly, I will wait. I did not notice it was missing until after I entered my hotel room.
Samar: I have spoken to the driver. He found a bag matching your description and will bring it to our office at four this afternoon.
Nabil: That is wonderful news! Can I collect it at five? I have an appointment that finishes shortly before then.
Samar: Yes, the office stays open until six. Bring the receipt and give these details to the receptionist.
Nabil: If I have understood you correctly, I should come to the office at five and do not need to meet the driver myself?
Samar: Correct. The office is on the ground floor of the building opposite the station, and there is a blue sign above the entrance.
Nabil: I know the building. Should I call you before setting off to confirm that the bag has arrived?
Samar: Yes, call this number after four. We will confirm its arrival so that you do not get here before it does.
Nabil: Thank you for your help. I will keep the receipt and call before leaving, then come at the agreed time.
Samar: You are welcome. I will leave my colleague a note about your collection time and the bag’s description so he can help you when you arrive.
