Ali: Our presentation is about reducing paper use at school. Let us decide what each of us is responsible for.

Salma: I have prepared a chart of the survey results, and I want to explain what the students said.

Omar: I will suggest solutions. But I put the same chart in my section to explain why I chose them.

Ali: Then the chart will appear twice. Salma, what will you explain through these results?

Salma: I will compare the students’ paper-use habits and identify the most common habit among them.

Omar: That works. I only need to refer to that habit before explaining the proposed solutions.

Ali: As for the chart, it will appear only in Salma’s section, and Omar will refer to its finding without repeating it.

Omar: Agreed. I will remove the chart from my section and keep the practical examples that explain the solutions.

Salma: What will you present, Ali? We need an introduction that connects the topic to our school life.

Ali: I will explain the problem and the survey’s purpose, then leave the detailed results for you to present.

Omar: The presentation is only ten minutes long. How do we divide the time and leave an opportunity for classmates’ questions?

Salma: Two minutes for the introduction, three for the results, three for the solutions, and the remaining two for questions at the end.

Ali: Good. We should connect the sections with short sentences so the presentation holds together.

Salma: At the end of my section, I will say that we need solutions to change this habit.

Omar: I will begin by saying: Based on these results, we suggest the following solutions to reduce paper use.

Salma: I can combine the sections in one file tomorrow morning if you both send your work tonight.

Ali: I will send my introduction tonight. Let us meet tomorrow at noon to practise and time it before the presentation.

Omar: I will send my section too. If the presentation runs long, I can remove an example without removing the main idea.

Salma: So Ali has the introduction, I have the results, Omar has the solutions, and we all answer questions.

Ali: Correct. During practice we will check that transitions between sections are clear and information is not repeated.
