Khalid returns after an absence. Nadir helps him separate tomorrow’s written work from later revision and group tasks.

Khalid: I was absent yesterday because I had a family appointment. Did I miss anything important in the two lessons?
Nadir: Yes. We practised writing summaries. Then the teacher handed out a worksheet that we submit tomorrow, Wednesday.
Khalid: So I only have this evening. What does the worksheet require, and where can I find a copy?
Nadir: It is in the class group. Read the short text, then write a summary of it in five sentences.
Khalid: I first need to understand the method. Did the teacher explain how we choose the main ideas?
Nadir: Yes. My notebook has an example he explained step by step. I will send you a photo of it after class today.
Khalid: Thank you. I will try it myself after reading it. Did he announce any test this week?
Nadir: There is a short test on Thursday, but it covers vocabulary from the previous unit and does not include yesterday’s lesson.
Khalid: That is easier than I expected, since I have reviewed most of that vocabulary. What about the group presentation?
Nadir: We will give it next Monday. We have set aside the examples section for you, but we can discuss the division tomorrow.
Khalid: I thought the presentation was tomorrow, so I was worried. Then I will start with the worksheet because its deadline is sooner.
Nadir: Exactly. Then review the vocabulary on Wednesday evening. You do not have to finish everything tonight.
Khalid: Did the teacher write the deadlines in one place? I want to check them before organising my time.
Nadir: Yes, in the pinned message in the class group. The presentation instructions and the vocabulary list for the test are there too.
Khalid: If I do not understand part of the example, will you be available to go over it with me this evening?
Nadir: I can talk for ten minutes at seven. Send your question before the call so we can make good use of the time.
Khalid: That works. I will read the instructions and identify the difficult point first, instead of asking you to explain the entire lesson.
Nadir: Good idea. Keep your first attempt so you can ask the teacher about it if anything remains unclear.
Khalid: So I will do the worksheet today, revision tomorrow, and the presentation examples after the test. The plan is clear to me now.
Nadir: Correct. I will send the photo after class, and we will talk at seven if you need help.
