الْفُطُورُ مَعَ أُسْرَتِي
اِسْمِي سَامِي. أَنَا فِي الْمَطْبَخِ مَعَ أُسْرَتِي. أُمِّي تَضَعُ الْخُبْزَ وَالْجُبْنَ عَلَى الطَّاوِلَةِ. أَبِي يَشْرَبُ الشَّايَ، وَأُخْتِي تَشْرَبُ الْحَلِيبَ. أَنَا أُحِبُّ الْخُبْزَ مَعَ الْجُبْنِ.
أَنْظُرُ إِلَى الطَّاوِلَةِ. أَيْنَ كُوبِي؟ كُوبِي لَيْسَ هُنَا. تَقُولُ أُخْتِي: «هُوَ فِي الْمَطْبَخِ، بِجَانِبِ الْبَابِ». أَذْهَبُ وَآخُذُ كُوبِي الْأَخْضَرَ. أُمِّي تَضَعُ فِيهِ مَاءً.
أَجْلِسُ مَعَ أُسْرَتِي وَآكُلُ. أَقُولُ لِأُخْتِي: «شُكْرًا لَكِ». تَبْتَسِمُ وَتَقُولُ: «هَذَا فُطُورٌ جَمِيلٌ!» بَعْدَ الْفُطُورِ، نَغْسِلُ الْأَكْوَابَ مَعًا.

My name is Sami. I am in the kitchen with my family. My mother puts bread and cheese on the table. My father drinks tea, and my sister drinks milk. I like bread with cheese.
I look at the table. Where is my cup? My cup is not here. My sister says, “It is in the kitchen, beside the door.” I go and get my green cup. My mother puts water in it.
I sit with my family and eat. I say to my sister, “Thank you.” She smiles and says, “This is a lovely breakfast!” After breakfast, we wash the cups together.
