My name is Mariam. I have a new bag. It is small and red. I put it on my bed in the morning. I open it and put a book and a notebook inside. I also put in a blue pen and a yellow ruler.
My mother asks, “Where is your food?” I look at my bag and laugh. My food is on the table! I get the cheese sandwich and an apple. I put the food in the bag and get a bottle of water.
I close my bag and carry it. My mother is at the door, and I am ready now. I say to her, “Thank you, Mum!” We go to school together. My bag is with me, and my food is with me too.
