My name is Maryam. I live in a small house with my family. There are six of us: my father, my mother, my grandmother, my brother, my sister and me. Our house has a kitchen, two bedrooms and a living room.
In the evening, we sit in the living room. My mother reads a book, and my father drinks tea. My brother and sister draw a house. My grandmother comes in, but my bag is on the chair.
I take the bag to my room. I say, “This chair is for you, Grandma.” She sits down and smiles. I sit beside her and show her the drawing. Our house is small, and our family is big and happy.
