نُورُ: نُرِيدُ الْيَوْمَ مُرَاجَعَةَ شُرُوطِ التَّدْرِيبِ الصَّيْفِيِّ فِي جَامِعَتِنَا. لَدَيْنَا عُرُوضٌ مَدْفُوعَةٌ وَأُخْرَى غَيْرُ مَدْفُوعَةٍ، لَكِنَّ عَدَدَ الْمَقَاعِدِ لَا يَكْشِفُ وَحْدَهُ عَنْ جَوْدَةِ الْفُرَصِ الْمُتَاحَةِ.

نُورُ: إِذَنْ لَا نُرِيدُ اخْتِزَالَ النِّقَاشِ فِي سُؤَالِ الْمُكَافَأَةِ وَحْدَهَا. يَنْبَغِي أَنْ نَفْحَصَ مَا يَتَعَلَّمُهُ الطَّالِبُ، وَمَا يَدْفَعُهُ مِنْ مَالٍ وَوَقْتٍ لِكَيْ يُتَاحَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ التَّعَلُّمُ.

نُورُ: لَدَيْنَا صُنْدُوقٌ جَامِعِيٌّ مَحْدُودٌ لِدَعْمِ الْمُشَارَكَةِ. يُمْكِنُ أَنْ يُغَطِّيَ بَعْضَ النَّفَقَاتِ، لَكِنَّنَا لَنْ نُعْلِنَ عَنْ دَعْمٍ غَيْرِ مَضْمُونٍ، ثُمَّ نَتْرُكَ الطَّالِبَ يُوَاجِهُ عَجْزًا بَعْدَ قَبُولِ الْعَرْضِ.
رَامِي: لَعَلَّ تَنْفِيذَ بَعْضِ الْمَهَامِّ عَنْ بُعْدٍ يُخَفِّفُ النَّفَقَاتِ. أَسْتَطِيعُ جَعْلَ اللِّقَاءِ الْحُضُورِيِّ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً أُسْبُوعِيًّا، شَرِيطَةَ أَنْ نَتَّفِقَ عَلَى طَرِيقَةٍ وَاضِحَةٍ لِطَلَبِ الْمُسَاعَدَةِ خِلَالَ الْأَيَّامِ الْأُخْرَى.
هِبَةُ: هَذَا خِيَارٌ مُفِيدٌ، وَلَيْسَ حَلًّا لِكُلِّ حَالَةٍ؛ فَبَعْضُ زُمَلَائِي لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَكَانًا هَادِئًا لِلْعَمَلِ. نَحْتَاجُ إِلَى مَرُونَةٍ حَقِيقِيَّةٍ، لَا إِلَى نَقْلِ التَّكْلِفَةِ إِلَى بَيْتِ الطَّالِبِ فَقَطْ.
نُورُ: وَمَاذَا عَنْ مَضْمُونِ التَّدْرِيبِ؟ وَصَلَنَا عَرْضٌ مَدْفُوعٌ يَكْتَفِي بِعِبَارَةِ مُسَاعَدَةِ الْفَرِيقِ، دُونَ تَحْدِيدِ مُشْرِفٍ أَوْ مَهَارَةٍ مُسْتَهْدَفَةٍ. لَا أَرَى أَنَّ الدَّفْعَ وَحْدَهُ يُبَرِّرُ اعْتِمَادَهُ.
رَامِي: يُمْكِنُنِي تَقْدِيمُ خُطَّةٍ تُحَدِّدُ الْمَهَمَّةَ وَمَرَاحِلَهَا، وَمَا سَيُضِيفُهُ كُلُّ لِقَاءٍ إِلَى التَّعَلُّمِ. أَمَّا الْمَهَامُّ الرُّوتِينِيَّةُ فَلَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ تَسْتَغْرِقَ مُعْظَمَ وَقْتِ الْمُتَدَرِّبِ لِمُجَرَّدِ حَاجَتِنَا إِلَيْهَا.
هِبَةُ: وَأُرِيدُ أَنْ يُذْكَرَ هَذَا الْحَدُّ فِي الْعَرْضِ. إِذَا تَغَيَّرَتِ الْمَهَامُّ بَعْدَ الْبِدَايَةِ، فَمَنْ يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَى شَكْوَى الطَّالِبِ؟ قَدْ يَصْمُتُ خَوْفًا مِنْ خَسَارَةِ تَقْيِيمٍ جَيِّدٍ أَوْ تَوْصِيَةٍ.
نُورُ: نُعَيِّنُ مُنَسِّقًا جَامِعِيًّا لَا يَتْبَعُ الْجِهَةَ الْمُسْتَضِيفَةَ، وَنُجْرِي مُرَاجَعَةً فِي مُنْتَصَفِ الْفَتْرَةِ. وَنُتِيحُ نَقْلَ الطَّالِبِ إِلَى بَدِيلٍ مُعْتَمَدٍ إِذَا اِنْحَرَفَ الْبَرْنَامَجُ جَوْهَرِيًّا عَنِ الْخُطَّةِ الْمُتَّفَقِ عَلَيْهَا.
رَامِي: أَتَقَبَّلُ الْمُرَاجَعَةَ، وَأَطْلُبُ فِي الْمُقَابِلِ أَلَّا يُعَدَّ كُلُّ تَعْدِيلٍ إِخْلَالًا بِالْخُطَّةِ. أَحْيَانًا يَتَأَخَّرُ الْمَشْرُوعُ، وَيُمْكِنُ تَقْدِيمُ مَهَمَّةٍ بَدِيلَةٍ تُحَقِّقُ الْهَدَفَ التَّعَلُّمِيَّ نَفْسَهُ بِطَرِيقَةٍ أُخْرَى.

نُورُ: نُسَجِّلُ أَيَّ تَعْدِيلٍ كَبِيرٍ وَهَدَفَهُ، وَيُرَاجِعُهُ الْمُنَسِّقُ. لَكِنْ يَبْقَى سُؤَالُ الْقَبُولِ: هَلْ نَسْمَحُ بِعَرْضٍ غَيْرِ مَدْفُوعٍ إِذَا كَانَ جَيِّدًا تَعْلِيمِيًّا، وَلَمْ تَكُنْ نَفَقَاتُ الْمُشَارَكَةِ مَضْمُونَةَ التَّغْطِيَةِ؟
رَامِي: لَوْ أَجَزْنَا ذَلِكَ بِمُوَافَقَةِ الطَّالِبِ، لَحَافَظْنَا عَلَى حُرِّيَّةِ الِاخْتِيَارِ. مَعَ ذَلِكَ أُدْرِكُ أَنَّ الْمُوَافَقَةَ لَا تَعْنِي دَائِمًا تَوَافُرَ بَدِيلٍ مَعْقُولٍ، خَاصَّةً قُرْبَ مَوْعِدِ التَّخَرُّجِ.
هِبَةُ: لِذَلِكَ أُفَضِّلُ أَلَّا تَعْتَمِدَ الْجَامِعَةُ عَرْضًا غَيْرَ مَدْفُوعٍ قَبْلَ تَأْكِيدِ تَغْطِيَةِ نَفَقَاتِ الْمُشَارَكَةِ. وَيَجِبُ أَنْ يَظَلَّ الْمَشْرُوعُ الْجَامِعِيُّ الْبَدِيلُ مُتَاحًا، دُونَ أَنْ يُعَدَّ خِيَارًا أَقَلَّ قِيمَةً.
نُورُ: نُطَبِّقُ هَذَا الشَّرْطَ فِي الدَّوْرَةِ الْقَادِمَةِ مِنْ بَرْنَامَجِنَا. وَسَنَنْشُرُ التَّكْلِفَةَ الْمُتَوَقَّعَةَ وَمَصْدَرَ تَغْطِيَتِهَا قَبْلَ التَّقَدُّمِ، لِكَيْ لَا يُطْلَبَ مِنَ الطَّالِبِ اتِّخَاذُ قَرَارٍ بِمَعْلُومَاتٍ نَاقِصَةٍ.
رَامِي: سَأَبْحَثُ عَنْ مُسَاهَمَةٍ مِنْ مُؤَسَّسَتِنَا، وَلَوْ كَانَتْ جُزْئِيَّةً. إِذَا لَمْ تَكْتَمِلِ التَّغْطِيَةُ، فَنُؤَجِّلُ الْعَرْضَ بَدَلًا مِنْ نَشْرِهِ بِوَعْدٍ غَامِضٍ. هَذَا أَصْعَبُ تَنْظِيمِيًّا، وَلَكِنَّهُ أَوْضَحُ لِلْجَمِيعِ.
هِبَةُ: وَأَرْجُو أَلَّا تُعْرَضَ مَعْلُومَاتُ الدَّعْمِ الشَّخْصِيَّةُ عَلَى الْمُشْرِفِ. يَحْتَاجُ إِلَى مَعْرِفَةِ تَرْتِيبَاتِ الْحُضُورِ، وَلَيْسَ إِلَى تَفَاصِيلِ دَخْلِ الْأُسْرَةِ الَّتِي قَدْ تُؤَثِّرُ فِي نَظْرَتِهِ إِلَى الطَّالِبِ.
نُورُ: سَيَتَوَلَّى مَكْتَبُ الدَّعْمِ مَلَفَّاتِ النَّفَقَاتِ، وَنُرْسِلُ إِلَى الْمُشْرِفِ التَّرْتِيبَاتِ الْمُتَّفَقَ عَلَيْهَا فَقَطْ. كَمَا نَفْصِلُ بَيْنَ طَلَبِ الدَّعْمِ وَتَقْيِيمِ الْمَهَارَاتِ، فَلِكُلٍّ مِنْهُمَا غَرَضٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ وَجِهَةٌ مَسْؤُولَةٌ.
رَامِي: كَيْفَ سَنَقِيسُ نَجَاحَ هَذَا التَّغْيِيرِ؟ إِنْ اِكْتَفَيْنَا بِعَدَدِ الْعُرُوضِ الْمَقْبُولَةِ، فَقَدْ تَبْدُو الدَّوْرَةُ أَضْعَفَ لِأَنَّنَا اسْتَبْعَدْنَا فُرَصًا لَا تَسْتَوْفِي الشُّرُوطَ، مَعَ أَنَّ جَوْدَةَ الْفُرَصِ الْمُعْتَمَدَةِ أَصْبَحَتْ أَفْضَلَ.
هِبَةُ: نَنْظُرُ أَيْضًا إِلَى مَنْ تَمَكَّنَ مِنَ الْمُشَارَكَةِ، وَمَنْ انْسَحَبَ وَسَبَبِ انْسِحَابِهِ. وَنَسْأَلُ عَمَّا تَعَلَّمَهُ الطُّلَّابُ فِعْلًا، لَا عَنْ رِضَاهُمْ الْعَامِّ أَوْ شُهْرَةِ الْجِهَاتِ الْمُسْتَضِيفَةِ وَحْدَهَا.

Nour · Placement coordinator: Today we want to review our university’s summer internship conditions. We have paid and unpaid offers, but the number of places alone does not reveal the quality of the available opportunities.
Rami · Workplace mentor: I represent a small organisation that can host two interns. We provide direct supervision, but our resources currently do not allow an adequate allowance. I worry our placement will be excluded for that reason.

Hiba · Student representative: Fewer hours help, but do not remove transport costs or the loss of a work shift. I suggest asking students about these burdens before describing the schedule as suitable for everyone.
Nour · Placement coordinator: We have a limited university fund to support participation. It can cover some expenses, but we will not advertise unconfirmed support and then leave a student facing a shortfall after accepting an offer.
Rami · Workplace mentor: Perhaps doing some tasks remotely would reduce expenses. I can limit the in-person meeting to once a week, provided we agree on a clear way to request help on the other days.
Hiba · Student representative: That is a useful option, not a solution for every situation: some colleagues have no quiet workspace. We need genuine flexibility, rather than merely transferring the cost to the student’s home.
Nour · Placement coordinator: What about the substance of the internship? We received a paid offer that merely says “helping the team,” without identifying a supervisor or target skill. I do not think payment alone justifies approving it.
Rami · Workplace mentor: I can provide a plan specifying the task, its stages and what each meeting adds to learning. Routine tasks should not consume most of an intern’s time simply because we need them done.
Hiba · Student representative: I want that limit stated in the offer. If tasks change after the start, who hears the student’s complaint? They may stay silent for fear of losing a good evaluation or recommendation.
Nour · Placement coordinator: We will appoint a university coordinator independent of the host and review the placement halfway through. We will allow a move to an approved alternative if the programme departs substantially from the agreed plan.
Rami · Workplace mentor: I accept the review and ask in return that not every adjustment count as a failure to follow the plan. Sometimes a project is delayed, and an alternative task can meet the same learning objective differently.
Hiba · Student representative: I do not object to a justified change as long as the student understands the reason and can discuss it. The problem is a temporary exception becoming permanent without review or explanation.
Nour · Placement coordinator: We will record each major change and its purpose for the coordinator to review. But the acceptance question remains: do we allow an unpaid offer that is educationally strong when participation expenses are not guaranteed to be covered?
Rami · Workplace mentor: Allowing it with the student’s consent would preserve freedom of choice. Yet I recognise that consent does not always mean a reasonable alternative exists, particularly close to graduation.
Hiba · Student representative: That is why I prefer the university not to approve an unpaid offer before participation expenses are confirmed covered. The alternative university project must remain available without being treated as a less valuable option.
Nour · Placement coordinator: We will apply that condition in the next round of our programme. We will publish expected costs and their source of funding before applications, so students are not asked to decide with incomplete information.
Rami · Workplace mentor: I will look for a contribution from our organisation, even a partial one. If full coverage cannot be arranged, we will postpone the offer rather than publish it with a vague promise. That is organisationally harder, but clearer for everyone.
Hiba · Student representative: I hope personal support information will not be shown to the supervisor. They need to know attendance arrangements, not family-income details that could influence how they see the student.
Nour · Placement coordinator: The support office will handle expense files, and we will send the supervisor only the agreed arrangements. We will also separate support requests from skills assessment: each has a different purpose and responsible office.
Rami · Workplace mentor: How will we measure the success of this change? If we count only approved offers, the round may look weaker because we excluded placements that did not meet the conditions, even though quality has improved.
Hiba · Student representative: We should also examine who could participate, who withdrew and why. We should ask what students actually learned, rather than relying only on overall satisfaction or the reputation of the host organisations.
Nour · Placement coordinator: We will collect brief reports and project samples while respecting their authors’ privacy. Then we will review the next round’s conditions in light of that evidence, rather than assuming the new condition is sufficient on its own.
Rami · Workplace mentor: I will send the learning plan and cost estimate this week. Funding for the two places is not settled yet, but we have identified what must be settled before inviting students to apply.
Hiba · Student representative: I will review the clarity of the offer with my fellow students. I accept this step because it connects learning with access to it and preserves an approved alternative for students whose circumstances do not suit an external internship.
