Hassan: I received notice that the subscription is rising from thirty to forty riyals monthly, after the article-download feature was removed.
Dina: That is correct. The new plan adds faster search and more precise recommendations, but I understand the change may not suit everyone.
Hassan: I read on the train, where the connection often drops. I used to download articles to read offline.
Dina: So the problem is not just the increase, but losing a feature you rely on daily. Is that right?
Hassan: Exactly. I accept paying a fair price for a service I use, but see no benefit in features that do not solve my problem.
Dina: There is no confirmed date for restoring downloads. I do not want to base my offer on an uncertain promise.
Hassan: I appreciate that clarity. Do you have another offer I can compare with stopping renewal?
Dina: We can offer twenty-five riyals monthly for the next two months, then the new price applies.
Hassan: Do you mean the price will automatically rise to forty riyals after the discount ends?
Dina: Yes. The duration and later price appear before acceptance. Discussing the discount does not mean you have accepted it.
Hassan: The offer is temporarily cheaper than my previous plan, but the discount does not restore the feature I need.
Dina: That is true. The offer only reduces the cost; accessing articles still depends on a connection.
Hassan: If I stop renewal now, do I lose access immediately, or can I use the period I have paid for?
Dina: Under your current plan, access continues until the paid month ends, with no new paid month starting afterwards.
Hassan: I prefer that option. Staying for a temporary discount would postpone the decision without improving how I use the service.
Dina: Understood. Do you want only to stop renewal and keep your account, or also to delete the account?
Hassan: I only want to stop renewal. I may reconsider later if the service better matches my needs.
Dina: Certainly, but I cannot guarantee this discount when you return. You would review the offers available then.
Hassan: I understand. I will compare the price and features available then, rather than rely on today’s offer.
Dina: Then I will stop renewal, keep the account, and leave the discount offer inactive. Is that what you are requesting?
Hassan: Yes. Please send written confirmation showing when access ends and that the subscription will not renew automatically.
Dina: I will send it after completing the request. I will pass your download feedback to the team without promising a particular change.
