التَّفَاوُضُ عَلَى بَاقَةِ إِنْتَرْنِتٍ
هُدَى: يَنْتَهِي عَقْدِي هَذَا الشَّهْرَ، لَكِنَّ الْعَرْضَ الَّذِي وَصَلَنِي يَرْفَعُ السِّعْرَ وَالسُّرْعَةَ مَعًا.
كَرِيمٌ: الْعَرْضُ الْجَدِيدُ يُضَاعِفُ سُرْعَةَ التَّنْزِيلِ مِنْ مِئَةٍ إِلَى مِئَتَيْ مِيغَابِتٍ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ، وَيَرْتَبِطُ بِعَقْدٍ سَنَوِيٍّ.
هُدَى: أَعْمَلُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَأَسْتَخْدِمُ مُكَالَمَاتِ الْفِيدْيُو. لَا أَحْتَاجُ بِالضَّرُورَةِ إِلَى سُرْعَةٍ أَعْلَى، بَلْ إِلَى اِتِّصَالٍ مُسْتَقِرٍّ.
كَرِيمٌ: هَلْ تَحْدُثُ الِانْقِطَاعَاتُ فِي جَمِيعِ الْغُرَفِ، أَمْ تَظْهَرُ عِنْدَ الِابْتِعَادِ عَنْ جِهَازِ التَّوْجِيهِ فَقَطْ؟
هُدَى: تَظْهَرُ فِي غُرْفَةِ الْعَمَلِ، أَمَّا قُرْبَ الْجِهَازِ فَالِاتِّصَالُ أَفْضَلُ. هَلْ تَحُلُّ الْبَاقَةُ الْأَسْرَعُ هَذِهِ الْمُشْكِلَةَ؟
كَرِيمٌ: لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ ضَمَانَ ذَلِكَ؛ فَقَدْ تَكُونُ الْمُشْكِلَةُ فِي التَّغْطِيَةِ الدَّاخِلِيَّةِ. نَحْتَاجُ إِلَى فَحْصٍ قَبْلَ اقْتِرَاحِ حَلٍّ.
هُدَى: لِنَفْصِلْ بَيْنَ مَعْرِفَةِ سَبَبِ الْمُشْكِلَةِ وَتَجْدِيدِ الْعَقْدِ، حَتَّى لَا أَدْفَعَ مُقَابِلَ زِيَادَةٍ غَيْرِ مُفِيدَةٍ.
كَرِيمٌ: يُمْكِنُنَا تَرْتِيبُ فَحْصٍ عَنْ بُعْدٍ بِلَا رَسْمٍ. وَيُمْكِنُكِ تَجْدِيدُ بَاقَتِكِ الْحَالِيَّةِ بِثَمَانِينَ رِيَالًا شَهْرِيًّا لِمُدَّةِ سَنَةٍ.
هُدَى: قَدْ أَنْتَقِلُ إِلَى سَكَنٍ آخَرَ بَعْدَ سِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ. مَا التَّكْلِفَةُ إِذَا أَنْهَيْتُ الْعَقْدَ قَبْلَ انْتِهَائِهِ؟
كَرِيمٌ: فِي هَذَا الْعَرْضِ، رَسْمُ الْإِنْهَاءِ الْمُبَكِّرِ مِئَتَا رِيَالٍ. أَمَّا الْعَقْدُ الشَّهْرِيُّ فَسِعْرُهُ خَمْسَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ بِالسُّرْعَةِ نَفْسِهَا.
هُدَى: إِذَنْ الْعَقْدُ السَّنَوِيُّ أَرْخَصُ مِنَ الشَّهْرِيِّ كُلَّ شَهْرٍ، لَكِنَّ الْفَرْقَ قَدْ لَا يُعَوِّضُ رَسْمَ الْإِنْهَاءِ.
كَرِيمٌ: صَحِيحٌ. وَالْخِيَارُ الشَّهْرِيُّ لَا يَتَضَمَّنُ ذَلِكَ الرَّسْمَ، بِشَرْطِ إِرْسَالِ طَلَبِ الْإِلْغَاءِ قَبْلَ التَّجْدِيدِ بِسَبْعَةِ أَيَّامٍ.
هُدَى: هَلِ السِّعْرَانِ شَامِلَانِ لِلضَّرِيبَةِ؟ وَهَلْ تَفْرِضُونَ رَسْمَ تَفْعِيلٍ جَدِيدًا عِنْدَ الِانْتِقَالِ إِلَى الْعَقْدِ الشَّهْرِيِّ؟
كَرِيمٌ: نَعَمْ، يَشْمَلَانِ الضَّرِيبَةَ، وَلَا رَسْمَ تَفْعِيلٍ لِهَذَا التَّجْدِيدِ. يَبْقَى جِهَازُ التَّوْجِيهِ الْحَالِيُّ مَعَكِ فِي الْخِيَارَيْنِ.
هُدَى: الْعَقْدُ الشَّهْرِيُّ أَنْسَبُ لِي حَالِيًّا. وَبِمَا أَنَّنِي عَمِيلَةٌ قَدِيمَةٌ، هَلْ يُمْكِنُ تَخْفِيضُ سِعْرِهِ دُونَ الْتِزَامٍ سَنَوِيٍّ؟
كَرِيمٌ: أَسْتَطِيعُ تَقْدِيمَ خَصْمٍ قَدْرُهُ خَمْسَةُ رِيَالَاتٍ شَهْرِيًّا لِثَلَاثَةِ أَشْهُرٍ فَقَطْ، مَعَ بَقَاءِ الْعَقْدِ شَهْرِيًّا.
هُدَى: أَيْ تِسْعُونَ رِيَالًا فِي الْأَشْهُرِ الثَّلَاثَةِ الْأُولَى، ثُمَّ خَمْسَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ؟ أُرِيدُ تَأْكِيدًا مَكْتُوبًا.
كَرِيمٌ: بِالتَّأْكِيدِ. سَأُرْسِلُ عَرْضًا يَتَضَمَّنُ السِّعْرَيْنِ وَتَارِيخَ انْتِهَاءِ الْخَصْمِ وَشَرْطَ الْإِلْغَاءِ، قَبْلَ أَنْ تُؤَكِّدِي التَّجْدِيدَ.
هُدَى: أُوَافِقُ مَبْدَئِيًّا، بِشَرْطِ إِجْرَاءِ الْفَحْصِ أَوَّلًا. إِذَا احْتَجْتُ إِلَى جِهَازٍ آخَرَ، فَأَنَا أُرِيدُ مَعْرِفَةَ تَكْلِفَتِهِ.
كَرِيمٌ: سَنُوَضِّحُ نَتِيجَةَ الْفَحْصِ وَأَيَّ خِيَارٍ مَدْفُوعٍ، وَلَنْ نُضِيفَ جِهَازًا أَوْ خِدْمَةً إِلَى حِسَابِكِ دُونَ مُوَافَقَتِكِ.
هُدَى: إِذَنْ نُرَتِّبُ الْفَحْصَ غَدًا، وَأُرَاجِعُ الْعَرْضَ بَعْدَهُ. أُرِيدُ خِدْمَةً تُنَاسِبُ ظُرُوفِي الْفِعْلِيَّةَ.
كَرِيمٌ: سَأُثَبِّتُ مَوْعِدَ الْفَحْصِ. لَنْ يَبْدَأَ الْعَقْدُ الْجَدِيدُ إِلَّا بَعْدَ تَأْكِيدِكِ الصَّرِيحِ.

Huda: My contract ends this month, but the offer I received increases both price and speed.
Karim: The new offer doubles the download speed from 100 to 200 megabits per second and requires a yearly contract.
Huda: I work from home and use video calls. I do not necessarily need a higher speed; I need a stable connection.
Karim: Do the interruptions occur in every room, or only when you move away from the router?
Huda: They occur in my workroom; near the router the connection is better. Would the faster package solve this?
Karim: I cannot guarantee that; the problem may be indoor coverage. We need a check before proposing a solution.
Huda: Let us separate identifying the problem from renewal to avoid paying for an unhelpful upgrade.
Karim: We offer a free remote check. Renewing your current package costs 80 riyals monthly for a year.
Huda: I may move to another home after six months. What would it cost to end the contract early?
Karim: In this offer, the early termination fee is 200 riyals. The monthly contract costs 95 at the same speed.
Huda: So the yearly contract is cheaper than the monthly one each month, but the saving may not offset the termination fee.
Karim: Correct. The monthly option has no such fee, provided the cancellation request is sent seven days before renewal.
Huda: Do both prices include tax? Would you charge another activation fee for switching to the monthly contract?
Karim: Yes, both include tax, and there is no activation fee for this renewal. You keep your current router with either option.
Huda: The monthly contract suits me better now. Since I am a long-standing customer, could you reduce its price without a yearly commitment?
Karim: I can offer a discount of five riyals a month for three months only, while keeping the contract monthly.
Huda: So 90 riyals for each of the first three months, then 95? Please confirm that in writing.
Karim: Certainly. I will send an offer listing both prices, the discount’s end date and the cancellation condition before you confirm renewal.
Huda: I agree in principle, provided the check happens first. If I need another device, I want to know its cost.
Karim: We will explain the findings and any paid option, and will not add a device or service to your account without your consent.
Huda: Let us arrange tomorrow’s check; I will review the offer afterwards. I want a service fitting my actual circumstances.
Karim: I will confirm the check appointment. The new contract starts only after your explicit confirmation.
