Samir: A month has passed since I moved here, and I still miss my home and family.

Mazin: I understand what you mean. What do you miss most in your daily life here?

Samir: I miss talking with my sister after dinner and walking along streets I know well.

Mazin: Those things were part of your day. Do you talk with your sister during the week?

Samir: Yes, but the time difference makes it difficult. I feel sad when I return to a quiet home.

Mazin: Thank you for telling me. Would you like me just to listen, or shall we think of something simple together?

Samir: We can think together, but I do not feel like attending a large gathering this week.

Mazin: That is fine. What do you think about walking with me near the library? We can stay for just half an hour.

Samir: That is easier for me than meeting many people. But will anyone else be with us?

Mazin: No, it will be just you and me. And if you want to return early, that is no problem.

Samir: I appreciate that. I can go out on Saturday, after a call I have arranged with my sister.

Mazin: Excellent. Keep the call as arranged and choose a suitable time afterwards; there is no need to rush.

Samir: How about four? I will be free then, and we will still have time before evening.

Mazin: Four suits me. Would you prefer to meet outside the library, or shall I stop by your home first?

Samir: I would prefer you to stop by because I do not know the route well; then we can walk together.

Mazin: With pleasure. And we can pass a small bakery if you would like to buy something for dinner.

Samir: Perhaps I will. I do not expect the longing to disappear immediately, but this step suits me now.

Mazin: And you do not have to do everything at once. We will start with just this short walk.

Samir: Thank you for listening and not pressuring me. I will send you my address before Saturday.

Mazin: I am here if you would like to talk again, and we can change the time if your plans change.
