Adam started working at a language centre. On the morning of his second day, his colleague Musa asked him to prepare ten folders for new students. Musa put papers, pens and empty folders on the desk. Adam said, “I have not done this before. Can you show me how?”

Musa picked up a folder and opened it calmly. He put in the class timetable first, then the centre map behind it. After that, he put a pen in the small pocket and closed the folder. Adam wrote the steps in his notebook, then asked, “Do I put the timetable in front of the map?” Musa said, “Yes, and check each folder before closing it.”

Adam took another folder and tried the task himself. He put in the papers and the pen, then read the steps again. He noticed that the folder contained two timetables and no map. He removed the extra timetable and added the map. Then he showed the folder to Musa, who said, “Now everything is in the correct place.”

Adam finished the remaining folders without rushing. After each folder, he checked that the timetable, map and pen were there. He put the ten folders on a table near the door and arranged the papers left on the desk. He thanked Musa for the explanation and kept his notebook to use when preparing new folders.
