My name is Zayd. I wake up in the morning and go to the kitchen. My mother is making tea, and my father is putting cheese on the table. But we have no bread. I say, “I am going to the bakery.” My brother goes with me. The bakery is near our home, so we walk there.

We enter the bakery and say, “Good morning.” The bread is warm, and it smells lovely. I say to the baker, “I would like three loaves, please.” The baker puts the bread in front of me. I look for my bag, but it is at home!

I ask, “Do you have a bag?” The baker smiles and gives me a brown bag. I put the bread in it and pay. I carry the bag carefully. We return home. I put the bread on the table. My mother says, “Thank you, Zayd.” We all sit down and eat breakfast.
