My name is Hamza. I visit my uncle’s farm on Saturday morning. I go with my father by car. There are many trees and animals on the farm. The air is lovely, and I hear the chickens. My uncle opens the door and says, “Welcome!”

I ask my uncle, “Shall I help you?” He says, “Yes, first we put out water for the chickens.” I carry a small container of water. I put it on the ground beside the door. A white hen comes and drinks. I stand with my uncle and look at it.

Then we enter the henhouse. My uncle gives me a small basket. I find three white eggs in a warm place. I put them in the basket carefully. I ask, “Are these today’s eggs?” My uncle says, “Yes, these are fresh eggs.”

We carry the basket to the kitchen and wash our hands. My uncle prepares breakfast. We eat the eggs with bread and cheese, and drink milk. I say to my father, “Now I know where these eggs come from!” My father smiles, and we finish breakfast together.
