Yasin: I want us to discuss our report. I feel that our division of work has not been fair so far.

Mahir: I thought each of us was working. What made you feel that way?

Yasin: I wrote the introduction and first section yesterday, but the second section you agreed to write is still empty.

Mahir: True, I only collected sources and have not started writing. I am sorry I did not tell you about the delay.

Yasin: I appreciate the source collection, but I am worried about time. I cannot write the whole report alone.

Mahir: I understand. I will write the second section today and will not leave that task to you.

Yasin: The conclusion and formatting the source list remain. We need to decide who will complete each task.

Mahir: I will write the conclusion and format the list too. You can revise the introduction and first section you wrote.

Yasin: Can you finish the tasks by six tomorrow evening? I want a realistic deadline.

Mahir: Yes, I am free in the afternoon. If a difficulty comes up, I will tell you tonight so we can adjust the plan.

Yasin: Good. Please send a draft of the second section tonight so we can find problems early.

Mahir: I will send it at nine. The parts I am writing will be ready for review tomorrow at six.

Yasin: I will finish revising my part by the same deadline. Then we can combine the parts without a long wait.

Mahir: Let us write this division in a list: you revise what you wrote, and I complete the remaining parts.

Yasin: Agreed. I did not mean to blame you; I wanted us to see clearly what is done and what remains.

Mahir: I thought collecting sources was enough, but the examples showed that the writing workload is uneven.

Yasin: Let us update the list after finishing each task so each of us knows what is done.

Mahir: Yes, we will mark completed tasks, rather than just writing our names.

Yasin: After combining the parts tomorrow, each of us will read the other’s work. We may find repetition or something missing.

Mahir: Good idea. We will review the report together in the evening, then submit it the following morning.
