Adil wanted to meet his friends Hassan and Mazin after a busy week. He sent them a message: “Shall we go out on Friday at four?” Hassan replied, “I work until six.” Mazin wrote, “I have a lesson from six to eight.” Friday evening was not suitable for them.
Adil thought about Saturday and asked about the morning. Mazin said, “I help my father in the shop until one in the afternoon.” Hassan said, “I will visit my grandmother in the evening, and I have to leave home at five.” Adil wrote these times on a piece of paper, then looked at the time between them.
Adil suggested a short meeting in a park near their homes. He wrote, “What do you two think about three o’clock on Saturday? We can walk for one hour, then go home.” Both friends agreed, and Hassan said, “I will have enough time before visiting my grandmother.” They agreed to meet at the main entrance.
On Saturday, everyone arrived at three. They walked among the trees and talked about their week. Mazin carried a bottle of water, and Adil showed some pictures from his last trip. At four, they said goodbye to one another and went home. On the way back, Hassan sent a message: “The meeting was short, but it was lovely. Thank you both!”
