نَادِيَةُ: صَبَاحَ الْخَيْرِ، هَلْ يُمْكِنُنِي تَمْدِيدُ مُدَّةِ إِعَارَةِ هَذَا الْكِتَابِ؟
أَمِينَةُ الْمَكْتَبَةِ: صَبَاحَ النُّورِ. أَعْطِينِي الْكِتَابَ وَبِطَاقَةَ الْمَكْتَبَةِ، مِنْ فَضْلِكِ.
نَادِيَةُ: تَفَضَّلِي. اِسْتَعَرْتُهُ قَبْلَ أُسْبُوعَيْنِ.

نَادِيَةُ: أَعْرِفُ، وَلَكِنْ بَقِيَتْ أَرْبَعُونَ صَفْحَةً لِأَنِّي كُنْتُ مَشْغُولَةً بِالْعَمَلِ.
أَمِينَةُ الْمَكْتَبَةِ: سَأَتَأَكَّدُ أَوَّلًا مِنْ وُجُودِ حَجْزٍ لِقَارِئٍ آخَرَ.
نَادِيَةُ: هَلْ أَسْتَطِيعُ الِاحْتِفَاظَ بِهِ أُسْبُوعًا آخَرَ؟
أَمِينَةُ الْمَكْتَبَةِ: لَا يُوجَدُ حَجْزٌ عَلَيْهِ، لِذَلِكَ أُمَدِّدُ الْمُدَّةَ حَتَّى الْخَمِيسِ الْقَادِمِ.
نَادِيَةُ: إِذَنْ أُعِيدُهُ يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ مِنَ الْأُسْبُوعِ الْقَادِمِ، صَحِيحٌ؟
أَمِينَةُ الْمَكْتَبَةِ: نَعَمْ، سَجَّلْتُ الْمَوْعِدَ الْجَدِيدَ الْآنَ.
نَادِيَةُ: هَلْ أَحْتَاجُ إِلَى إِيصَالٍ جَدِيدٍ؟
أَمِينَةُ الْمَكْتَبَةِ: لَا، يَظْهَرُ مَوْعِدُ الْإِعَادَةِ الْجَدِيدُ فِي حِسَابِكِ عَلَى مَوْقِعِ الْمَكْتَبَةِ.
نَادِيَةُ: وَأَيْنَ أُسَلِّمُ الْكِتَابَ عِنْدَمَا أَنْتَهِي مِنْ قِرَاءَتِهِ؟
أَمِينَةُ الْمَكْتَبَةِ: يُمْكِنُكِ تَسْلِيمُهُ عِنْدَ هَذَا الْمَكْتَبِ.
نَادِيَةُ: شُكْرًا لَكِ. أَنْوِي إِنْهَاءَ قِرَاءَتِهِ فِي نِهَايَةِ الْأُسْبُوعِ.
أَمِينَةُ الْمَكْتَبَةِ: عَفْوًا، أَتَمَنَّى لَكِ قِرَاءَةً مُفِيدَةً.

Nadia: Good morning. Can I extend the loan period for this book?

Nadia: Here you are. I borrowed it two weeks ago.
Librarian: Yes, it is due back today, which is Thursday.
Nadia: I know, but I still have forty pages left because I was busy with work.
Librarian: I will first check whether another reader has a reservation.
Nadia: Can I keep it for another week?
Librarian: There is no reservation for it, so I am extending the period until next Thursday.
Nadia: So I will return it on Thursday next week, correct?
Librarian: Yes. I have recorded the new due date now.
Nadia: Do I need a new receipt?
Librarian: No. The new return date appears in your account on the library website.
Nadia: And where do I hand in the book when I finish reading it?
Librarian: You can hand it in at this desk.
Nadia: Thank you. I intend to finish reading it at the weekend.
