الْعُثُورُ عَلَى حَافِلَةٍ بَعْدَ تَأَخُّرِ الرِّحْلَةِ
خَالِدٌ: تَأَخَّرَتْ طَائِرَتِي وَفَاتَتْنِي الْحَافِلَةُ. أَيُّ حَافِلَةٍ تَذْهَبُ إِلَى مِنْطَقَةِ الْفَنَادِقِ الْآنَ؟
الْمُوَظَّفُ: السَّاعَةُ الْآنَ التَّاسِعَةُ وَالرُّبْعُ مَسَاءً. تَنْطَلِقُ الْحَافِلَةُ رَقْمُ سَبْعَةٍ فِي الْعَاشِرَةِ.
خَالِدٌ: أَتَذْهَبُ مُبَاشَرَةً، أَمْ أَحْتَاجُ إِلَى تَغْيِيرِ الْحَافِلَةِ؟
الْمُوَظَّفُ: تَذْهَبُ مُبَاشَرَةً، وَتَسْتَغْرِقُ الرِّحْلَةُ خَمْسًا وَثَلَاثِينَ دَقِيقَةً.
خَالِدٌ: حَقِيبَتِي لَمْ تَصِلْ بَعْدُ. هَلْ تُوجَدُ حَافِلَةٌ أُخْرَى بَعْدَهَا؟
الْمُوَظَّفُ: نَعَمْ، الْحَافِلَةُ الْأَخِيرَةُ فِي الْعَاشِرَةِ وَالنِّصْفِ. لَا تُوجَدُ رِحْلَاتٌ بَعْدَهَا اللَّيْلَةَ.
خَالِدٌ: أَيْنَ مَوْقِفُ الْحَافِلَةِ؟
الْمُوَظَّفُ: خَارِجَ الْمَدْخَلِ الرَّئِيسِيِّ، عَلَى الْيَمِينِ.
خَالِدٌ: كَمْ يَسْتَغْرِقُ الْمَشْيُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ هُنَا؟
الْمُوَظَّفُ: نَحْوَ خَمْسِ دَقَائِقَ. الْمَوْقِفُ بِجَانِبِ اللَّوْحَةِ الزَّرْقَاءِ.
خَالِدٌ: وَكَمْ سِعْرُ التَّذْكِرَةِ؟ أَيْنَ أَشْتَرِيهَا؟
الْمُوَظَّفُ: عَشَرَةُ رِيَالَاتٍ. تَشْتَرِيهَا مِنَ السَّائِقِ عِنْدَ الرُّكُوبِ.
خَالِدٌ: سَأُحَاوِلُ رُكُوبَ حَافِلَةِ الْعَاشِرَةِ. أَيُّ مَوْقِفٍ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى فُنْدُقِ الْحَدِيقَةِ؟
الْمُوَظَّفُ: مَوْقِفُ الْحَدِيقَةِ. مِنْ هُنَاكَ تَمْشِي دَقِيقَتَيْنِ إِلَى الْفُنْدُقِ.
خَالِدٌ: إِذَنْ أَنْزِلُ فِي مَوْقِفِ الْحَدِيقَةِ. هَلْ يُمْكِنُ لِلسَّائِقِ أَنْ يُنَبِّهَنِي؟
الْمُوَظَّفُ: نَعَمْ، اُطْلُبْ مِنْهُ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ الرُّكُوبِ.

Khalid: My flight was delayed and I missed the bus. Which bus goes to the hotel district now?
Staff member: It is now quarter past nine in the evening. Bus number seven leaves at ten.
Khalid: Does it go directly, or do I need to change buses?
Staff member: It goes directly, and the journey takes thirty-five minutes.
Khalid: My bag has not arrived yet. Is there another bus after it?
Staff member: Yes, the last bus is at half past ten. There are no services after it tonight.
Khalid: Where is the bus stop?
Staff member: Outside the main entrance, on the right.
Khalid: How long does it take to walk there from here?
Staff member: About five minutes. The stop is beside the blue sign.
Khalid: And how much is the ticket? Where do I buy it?
Staff member: Ten riyals. You buy it from the driver when you board.
Khalid: I will try to catch the ten o’clock bus. Which stop is closest to the Garden Hotel?
Staff member: The Garden stop. From there you walk two minutes to the hotel.
Khalid: So I get off at the Garden stop. Can the driver let me know?
Staff member: Yes, ask him to do that when you board.
