My name is Ali. Tomorrow I am going with my family to my grandfather’s house in the village. We are staying there for the weekend. I am happy about this trip. In the evening, I put my blue bag on the bed and open the wardrobe.

I choose a green shirt and clean trousers. I put them in the bag. My mother says, “The weather is cold at night.” I put a warm jacket on top of the shirt. I do not need many clothes; the visit is short.

My favourite little book is on the desk. I want to read it with my grandfather. I pick up the book and look at the bag. It is small, but there is room in it for the book. I put it beside the clothes, then close the bag easily.

My mother asks me, “Are you ready?” I say, “Yes, everything is here!” She gives me a hat for the trip, and I put it on the bed beside the bag. In the morning, I put it on and carry my bag. I am ready to go to my grandfather.
