My name is Omar. Today I am visiting my uncle, my father’s brother, in a nearby city. This is my first train journey. I go to the station with my father in the morning. I say to the employee, “One ticket, please.” I pay and take the ticket.

I look at the board. The platform number is two, and the departure time is nine o’clock. I walk to the platform with my father. The train is there. I say goodbye to my father, then board the train and find my seat. I sit beside the window and put my bag under the seat.

The train moves smoothly. I look out of the window at the green fields. I see trees and small houses. I open my bag and take the water bottle. I drink a little, then look at the route outside again. I am happy with this journey.

We arrive at ten o’clock. I carry my bag and get off the train. My uncle is waiting for me at the station entrance. I say, “Good morning!” He says, “Welcome, Omar! How was the journey?” I smile and say, “Very nice!” We walk together to his car.
