I have a small plant in a pot. I carry it to the balcony at home. There is a chair and a small table on the balcony. I want a nice place for the plant. I look at the place under the chair, but it is dark. I say, “This place does not suit it.”
My mother comes to the balcony and looks at the plant. She says, “It needs light.” I put the pot on the table. There is light here in the morning. I sit on the chair and look at the green leaves. The plant is very beautiful.
Every morning, I wake up and wash my face, then go to the balcony. I touch the soil. When it is dry, I add a little water. I do not add water every day. I learn this from my mother. After that, I have breakfast.
After a week, I see a new leaf. It is small and green. I call my mother and say, “Look! There is a new leaf here!” My mother smiles. I am happy with my plant. I sit beside it and read a small book. The balcony is my favourite place now.
