Hani: I rented this bicycle half an hour ago, but I have returned because a problem appeared while I was riding.
Lina — rental employee: I am sorry that happened. Describe what happened, and did you notice anything unusual beforehand?
Hani: I heard an intermittent noise, then the chain slipped twice within five minutes on a flat road.
Lina — rental employee: Did you continue riding it after that, or did you stop and walk back to the shop?
Hani: I stopped and walked here, pushing it. I did not try to repair it myself, and I was not hurt.
Lina — rental employee: It is good that you stopped. We will leave it for the technician to inspect, and I will find you a suitable replacement bicycle.
Hani: I need a small frame and a front basket because I have a small camera bag with me.
Lina — rental employee: We have a small bicycle without a basket and a larger one with a basket. Which would suit you better?
Hani: The small one is easier for me, and I prefer it to the large one. Could a basket be fitted to it?
Lina — rental employee: Yes, we have a basket that fits it. The technician will fit it and inspect the bicycle before you take it.
Hani: That is a good solution. Will the charge or return time change after replacing the bicycle?
Lina — rental employee: We will not ask for an additional payment. And we will extend the time by half an hour to make up for the time you lost.
Hani: The return time was eleven. So I return it at half past eleven, correct?
Lina — rental employee: Correct, and I will write the new time on the receipt. Return it to this shop, not to the park entrance.
Hani: I understand. My plan is to ride on the flat path in the park and then return here.
Lina — rental employee: The technician has finished the inspection and fitted the basket. This is the replacement bicycle we agreed on.
Hani: It looks suitable. I want to check the seat height and how easily I can reach both brakes before leaving.
Lina — rental employee: Certainly. The technician will help you adjust it. Tell him if the seat is higher than suits you.
Hani: The seat is suitable after the adjustment. I will take this bicycle and return it at the new time.
Lina — rental employee: Here are the helmet, lock, and updated receipt. The shop’s number is on it if you need to contact us.
