التَّخْطِيطُ لِاحْتِفَالٍ صَفِّيٍّ صَغِيرٍ
حَازِمٌ: دَرْسُنَا الْأَخِيرُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ. مَا رَأْيُكَ فِي احْتِفَالٍ صَغِيرٍ بَعْدَهُ؟
فَارِسٌ: فِكْرَةٌ جَمِيلَةٌ! وَافَقَ الْمُعَلِّمُ عَلَى اسْتِخْدَامِ الْفَصْلِ لِمُدَّةِ عِشْرِينَ دَقِيقَةً.
حَازِمٌ: كَمْ شَخْصًا سَيَحْضُرُ؟
فَارِسٌ: نَحْنُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ طَالِبًا، وَسَيَبْقَى الْمُعَلِّمُ مَعَنَا أَيْضًا.
حَازِمٌ: مَاذَا نُحْضِرُ لِلِاحْتِفَالِ؟
فَارِسٌ: سَأُحْضِرُ الْعَصِيرَ وَالْأَكْوَابَ. هَلْ تُحْضِرُ أَنْتَ الْبَسْكَوِيتَ؟
حَازِمٌ: نَعَمْ، سَأَشْتَرِيهِ الْيَوْمَ. هَلْ أُرْسِلُ رِسَالَةً لِبَقِيَّةِ الزُّمَلَاءِ؟
فَارِسٌ: نَعَمْ، أَخْبِرْهُمْ أَنَّ الطَّعَامَ كَافٍ، لِأَنَّنَا لَا نُرِيدُ طَعَامًا زَائِدًا.
حَازِمٌ: أَيْنَ نَضَعُ الطَّاوِلَةَ؟
فَارِسٌ: بِجَانِبِ النَّافِذَةِ. نَسْتَطِيعُ تَرْتِيبَهَا قَبْلَ الدَّرْسِ.
حَازِمٌ: هَلْ نَكْتُبُ بِطَاقَةَ شُكْرٍ لِلْمُعَلِّمِ؟
فَارِسٌ: نَعَمْ. اُكْتُبْ أَنْتَ الرِّسَالَةَ، ثُمَّ يُوَقِّعُ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا.
حَازِمٌ: إِذَنْ، أَنَا مَسْؤُولٌ عَنِ الْبِطَاقَةِ وَالْبَسْكَوِيتِ، وَأَنْتَ عَنِ الْعَصِيرِ وَالْأَكْوَابِ.
فَارِسٌ: صَحِيحٌ، وَسَنُنَظِّفُ الْفَصْلَ جَمِيعًا بَعْدَ الِاحْتِفَالِ.
حَازِمٌ: لِنَلْتَقِ قَبْلَ الدَّرْسِ بِرُبْعِ سَاعَةٍ لِلتَّحْضِيرِ.
فَارِسٌ: اِتَّفَقْنَا. سَأُخْبِرُ الزُّمَلَاءَ بِهَذَا الْمَوْعِدِ الْآنَ.

Hazem: Our last lesson is on Friday. What do you think about a small celebration afterwards?
Faris: A lovely idea! The teacher has agreed to us using the classroom for twenty minutes.
Hazem: How many people will attend?
Faris: There are twelve of us students, and the teacher will stay with us too.
Hazem: What should we bring for the celebration?
Faris: I will bring juice and cups. Could you bring the biscuits?
Hazem: Yes. I will buy them today. Shall I send a message to the other classmates?
Faris: Yes. Tell them there is enough food, because we do not want extra food.
Hazem: Where should we put the table?
Faris: Beside the window. We can set it up before the lesson.
Hazem: Shall we write a thank-you card for the teacher?
Faris: Yes. You write the message, and then each of us will sign it.
Hazem: So I am responsible for the card and biscuits, and you for the juice and cups.
Faris: Correct, and we will all clean the classroom after the celebration.
Hazem: Let us meet fifteen minutes before the lesson to prepare.
