In the afternoon, Fatima goes to the library. She likes reading and wants a book about flowers. There are tables, chairs and many books in the library. She puts her bag under a table near the window. Then she looks at the first shelf. It has books about animals.

She goes to the librarian and asks, “Where are the books about flowers?” The librarian says, “They are on the green shelf, beside the door.” Fatima thanks her and takes a small book from the shelf. There is a picture of a yellow flower on its cover.

Fatima sits down and opens the book. She reads about water, sunshine and flowers. In her notebook, she draws a flower and writes its name. She wants a flower like it in her garden at home. Then she returns the book to the green shelf and picks up her bag. She goes home to show her mother the drawing.
