Sara opens the window in the morning. The weather is cold and rainy. She puts on her coat and takes a yellow umbrella. Her mother says, “Close the window, Sara.” Sara closes it, then goes to school with her mother. In front of the door, she closes the umbrella and says, “Goodbye, Mum.”
At school, Sara wants to play in the playground. But there is a lot of rain. The teacher says, “Today we are staying in the classroom.” Sara’s coat is wet. She puts it beside the door, then sits with her friend Huda. The classroom is warm, and there are paper and coloured pencils on the desk.
Huda says, “Let’s draw!” Sara draws a big sun, and Huda draws a small house. The teacher likes the two drawings and puts them on the wall. After the lesson, the rain eases. Sara’s coat is dry now. She puts it on and takes her umbrella. She returns home happily with her mother. She tells her mother about the sun on the classroom wall.
