My name is Huda, and I am a doctor. I wake up at seven o’clock in the morning. I wash my face and put on my clothes. I eat bread and cheese, and I drink tea. Then I go to the clinic. I start work at eight o’clock. My room is small and clean, and it has a white desk.
On the desk are a pen and a small notebook. I welcome the patients and ask them how they are. I listen to what they say and write in my notebook. I work with a kind nurse. At one o’clock we sit together. I eat rice and salad, then return to my room.
I leave the clinic at four o’clock. At home I sit with my son. He shows me a new book, and we read a short story. After dinner I put my bag beside the door. I am tired but happy. I love my work and my time with my family.
